With your permission, we access your device's GPS location (high accuracy) to:
Your coordinates are sent to our server solely to fulfil your request and are not stored, logged, or shared with third parties.
Your quiz answers (taste preferences, food pairing style, budget range) are stored locally on your device using your device's secure storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
To find and fix bugs, we use Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the app crashes or encounters an error. This may include:

Location data is used only to return relevant wine recommendations and nearby store results for your current session. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Some wine listings include affiliate links. Clicking a purchase link may take you to a retailer's website, which has its own privacy policy.
We do not retain personal data on our servers. Your palate preferences are stored on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app. Crash and diagnostic reports are processed and retained by Firebase Crashlytics in accordance with Google's policies (typically up to 90 days).
CellarSage is an alcohol-related service intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. The app includes an age verification screen. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal drinking age.
Under Australian privacy law you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. As we do not collect or store personal information, there is nothing to access or delete. For any privacy enquiries, contact support@cellarsage.com.au.
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. We follow industry-standard practices to protect any data in transit.
